Hailing from Richmond Virgina, the small band’s ripping vocals cascaded through the few who showed up to see the openers.Īs more and more came in to flood the venue, second opener Razor Bumps delivered an unforgettable performance. Surprise opener Nosebleed who hopped on the bill towards the end of the tour is a secret yet to be unlocked. With a mammoth lineup of amazing performers on the bill including Touché Amore, Culture Abuse, Razor Bumps and Nosebleed, the show was a continuous exponential curve of energy.
This is what the latest tour titled “Time + Space” after their 2018 album release of the same name put on by Baltimore hardcore band Turnstile. Stripping themselves of their 9 to 5’s to have 5 hours of screaming energy that coats the back of their minds for the rest of the working week. With notes of beer in the floorboards and sticky sweat, the crowds of this hardcore show throw caution to the wind. The wafts of cigarette smoke coming from set breaks outside carried in from the giant venue of Warsaw. In October of 2014 while Touche Amore was headlining Fest in Gainesville, FL, the final stop on their tour, Bolm received a call that his mother passed. So he returned to the road with bandmates - guitarists Nick Steinhardt and Clayton Stevens, bassist Tyler Kirby, and drummer Elliot Babin. However, as his biggest supporter, she encouraged him to continue on living his dream. With the band's support, Bolm wanted to go on hiatus to care for his ailing mother. The band had reached a high point in notoriety when frontman Jeremy Bolm received news that his mother had been diagnosed with Stage Four cancer. In 2013 Touche Amore crossed into new territory with their beloved release, Is Survived By. Touche Amore is a Los Angeles, CA based punk band whose earnest and artful approach to song writing, along with relentless touring, fueled their rise to prominence in the hardcore community.
